The first has variant comes with 1GB RAM while the second has 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM available on both.
There are other exciting features that set them apart. I am going to be unfolding them as you read along.
Talking about availability, the Infinix Smart 3 can be bought in online and offline stores in Nigeria. It is selling at a really affordable price that is so budget friendly price in Nigeria.
Display
Over the years, Infinix Mobility have been working really hard to ensure better clarity on her display. No wonder they have been able to stand out in Nigeria.
On the Infinix Smart 3, there is a 5.5inch HD+ infinity display that comes with 1440 x 720 resolution which ensures better clarity and quality viewing experience.
Whether you are watching movies or playing mobile games, the Infinix Smart 3 display won’t let you down. Just hit the power button and view amazing colors.
Design
The Infinix Smart 3 comes in a very simplistic design which gat small bezels at the top and bottom. At the top is where the selfie camera, receiver and flashlight is positioned while the bottom remains empty.
As expected, the volume and power button where placed at the right while the dual nano sim-slot took her proper position at the left. There is even a dedicated micro SD card slot at the top.
Taking a good look at the back, you will find the camera shooter, speaker grill, fingerprint scanner with Infinix brand name placed underneath it. There are also some tech writings beside the speaker grill.
At the bottom is where the 3.5mm headphone jack, microphone and micro USB port is. I also won’t forget to tell you that the Infinix Smart 3 comes in a plastic body so don’t forget to protect it with a standard case.
Camera
Let’s talk about the camera on the Infinix Smart 3. Remember I once talked about the Smart 3 coming in two variants? I also made mention of each having some distinctive features.
Well, this is where the boys get separated from the men. On the 1GB RAM Infinix Smart 3, there is an 8MP AI selfie camera and a single 13MP rear AI camera with LED flash.
The 2GB RAM variant of the Infinix Smart 3 comes with the same 8MP AI selfie camera but moved a step further by boosting a 13MP + 2MP AI camera with LED flash at the back.
Battery life
The battery capacity is also not equal on both variants. While the one with 1GB RAM got a 3050mAh battery, the 2GB RAM variant received a bigger 3500mAh battery.
Irrespective of the distinctive battery capacity on both variants, the Infinix Smart 3 can still serve you for two days depending on how well you use it in Nigeria.
Software & Spec
The Infinix Smart 3 comes with Infinix Mobility latest XOS 5.0 cheetah UI that is based on android 9.0 pie Operating System.
As earlier discussed, there is the Infinix Smart 3 with 1GB RAM & 16GB ROM. There is also the one with 2GB RAM & 16GB ROM. Both variants can be expandable via micro SD card, up to 128GB.
Inside this budget smartphone is a MediaTek helio A22 chipset that runs on a 2.0GHz quad-core processor which helps to ensure smooth performance and less lagging.
Security features & more
Aside password and pattern lock, the Infinix Smart 3 has a fingerprint scanner and face ID feature. You can use any of these to secure your smartphone in Nigeria.
What’s more on this very smartphone are: 4G LTE and 2A charging with OTG support.
My Thoughts
As expected, the Infinix Smart 3 received some notable upgrades: it’s got the latest Infinix Mobility UI, 4G LTE and an AI selfie and rear camera.
If you really want to have a taste of Infinix smartphone on a budget, I strongly recommend you look into the Infinix Smart 3 but buy the 2GB RAM variant in Nigeria.
However, you can buy the 1GB variant only if you are on a budget. The difference isn’t much and there is very little to sacrifice but I wonder why you won’t opt-in for 2GB.
