If you can recall, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 10 some couple of months ago. That was 2019 remember! Am pretty sure you haven’t forgotten what went down during that launch.

Just as we were expecting, we got to see a good number of high-end features that were breath taking. It ended up becoming the best android smartphone for most people in Nigeria in 2019, not withstanding.

Design & Display

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite comes with the latest 2020 first quarter design Samsung is offering us. From top to bottom, you can see how much space is preserved here.

In front we have a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that offers edge-to-edge infinity-O view. It provides an immersive experience that allows you to enjoy the display.

The display comes with a standard 2400 x 1080p resolution and a solid 394ppi. With these, you are guaranteed of a very quality view that you will live to remember.

At the rear, there is a triple camera system and an LED flash all compressed in a rectangular box. I guess this is now the new way to fix multiple cameras at the back.

Apple first introduced this and everyone was like whoa! Now the adoption is gaining attention but this time, resized a little bit.

The design of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite when compared with that of the Galaxy Note 10 will give you enough reason to choose the Lite version over the regular variant.

I love the new design philosophy Samsung is implementing in the early hours of 2020. It’s all about simplicity here! Isn’t that the way to go?

Camera & Battery

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite offer a suite of camera features and capabilities. The camera on this very smartphone takes photography to a whole new level. There is a 32MP selfie camera in front.

At the rear, you will find triple solid 12MP cameras. The first is wide-angle, the second is ultra-wide (with 123° angle lens), the third is macro camera and there is a new Super Steady mode with OIS.

The new Super Steady OIS provides you with higher stability for action-focused photos and videos, letting you capture and share your world, your experience with everyone.

Under the hood is a large 4,500mAh battery that is packed with super-fast charging capabilities. With this, you can spend less time charging and more time doing the things you love.

Most of all, the battery is long-lasting. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite will help you stay connected longer than expected. A complete day is achievable with this phone in Nigeria.

Software & Specs

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite come with Samsung’s ecosystem of apps and services, including Bixby, Samsung Pay and Samsung Health. It runs on Google Android 10 OS based on One UI 2.0.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite is also protected with defense-grade security platform Samsung Knox. It comes with 6/8GB RAM and 128GB ROM of internal storage.

When it comes to CPU, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite has a Samsung Exynos 9810 10nm 64-bit Octa-core processor (Quad 2.7GHz + Quad 1.7GHz) that helps to smooth things up with navigation and usability.

S pen

There is also a signature S pen that comes with cool features but it is not as powerful as the one we saw in 2019. So don’t expect to see all the S pen functionalities here.

With the Samsung Galaxy S pen, you are sure of enjoying the premium Note experience (to some extent) and increase your productivity at the same time.

The S pen just like the one on the regular Note 10 has Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) support that lets you easily navigate a presentation, control your video content or take a picture with just a single click.

The Samsung Notes app makes note taking faster and easier. Handwritten notes can also be converted into text for easy editing and sharing. Air command is also available here too.

My Thoughts

So “Lite” Version means less price. I guess this is Samsung new way of showing they care for everyone especially now that the prices of Smartphones are increasing Every time there is a new launch.

The Note series is still as solid as always. When I first heard about the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite, I knew there was going to be compromise in some ways. Sincerely there was.

If there is anything that Samsung really tie down a little bit is storage. Yes storage. Aside that, You still have the latest camera feature, S Pen, and other key tools for self-expression and productivity.
