Design & Display
The Redmi 9A being an entry-level smartphone has it all simple. The body alone couldn’t miss being a plastic one. The placements on the other hand ranging from the camera to the micro-USB port at the bottom remain unchanged.
On the display, we’ve got a 6.53inch LCD screen that is rocking a 720 x 1600p resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display quality equals the price, this is not by anyway surprising. We are glad the quality didn’t slide lower than this.
Camera & Battery
In front is a 5MP selfie camera, at the back is a 13MP main camera. Both have camera features that can help to enhance the image quality but don’t expect anything too heavy.
The following camera features are present on the 13MP rear camera: Phase detection auto focus, HDR, AI portrait mode, Face recognition, AI beautify 5.0, AI scene detection, Single-tone flash, and Kaleidoscope effects.
The 5MP selfie camera, on the other hand, have the following camera features loaded inside: AI beautify 5.0, AI portrait mode, HDR, Screen flash, Selfie timer, Face recognition, Portrait selfies and Palm shutter
The Battery also crossed the line. There is a 5000mAh battery that is non-removable as expected, it has a 10W fast charging feature that now a must check feature for most buyers in Nigeria. 10W isn’t as fast but at least it is better than none.

Final Thoughts
I guess we now have more options to choose from, the Redmi 9A is another pick for the season. If you are the type that doesn’t fancy pricy phones that much in Nigeria, you might as well wanna get this.
The features are entry-level though but they are worthy of note. I so much like the way the features are spread out but keep it in mind that the camera might not be the best out there if you are a camera person
