Design
Are you still a huge fan of tiny bezels, the Infinix Smart 2 HD got that in her outlook. At the top is where the front-facing camera, flashlight and receiver are while the bezels down below is empty.

The Infinix Smart 2 HD features a microphone and a micro USB port at the bottom, the 3.5mm headphone jack also took her place at the top.
At the rear, you will find a single camera sensor with LED flash, a fingerprint scanner, a down firing speaker, Infinix brand and Smart name inscription.
The volume and power button took are usual spot as expected but there is surprisingly a noticeable texture on the surface of the power button which feels awesome.
Display
Talking about size, the Infinix Smart 2 HD is infact bigger than normal, we are talking about a smartphone that comes with a 6.0inch HD+ display and rocks an 18:9 aspect ratio.

So you have enough screen to do plenty of visual stuffs like chatting, gaming, movie watching and e-reading.
On top of that, the display has a very rich picture quality that is hard to find among smartphones in her price range.
Battery life
Inside the Infinix Smart 2 HD is a 3500mAh battery that is in-built, this automatically means it cannot be removed.
I charged the Infinix Smart 2 HD and used it to do some heavy task like watching YouTube videos and surfing the web for almost two (2) hours in Nigeria.
To my dismay, I noticed that the battery wasn’t gonna last for a whole day until I was able to activate the battery saver.
With the battery saver turned on, the Infinix Smart 2 HD was very moderate in battery drain. I was able to use it till the next day though on a light usage.
Camera
The Infinix Smart 2 HD comes with an 8MP rear and an 8MP low-light selfie camera. Both have a single flashlight to support the camera in dark scenes.

The camera performed greatly. The photo quality was more than excellent, I wasn’t expecting to see that much but thank God the Infinix Smart 2 HD didn’t disappoint.
Software & Spec
To compliment the hardware, the Infinix Smart 2 HD shipped in with a pre-installed Android 8.1 Oreo OS which is based on XOS UI.

On the Infinix Smart 2 HD, there is Face unlock and fingerprint scanner. The face ID worked just fine, the fingerprint scanner on the other hand unlocks really fast.

What’s inside the box?
When I unboxed the Infinix Smart 2 HD, I found the following accessories inside: a power adapter, a micro USB port, earpiece, quick guide, specification manual, a customer service card and the phone itself.
My thoughts
I only have 3 simple words to say. The Infinix Smart 2 HD is affordable, balance and is of light weight.
Affordable in the sense that you don’t have to spend so much to buy this smartphone in Nigeria.
It is balanced because it’s got a good number of decent features that suites an average user.
And last but not the least, the Infinix Smart 2 HD is a light weight smartphone. My friend was the first to notice this when she first laid her hands it.
