Design

The Oppo Reno 2F comes with a very futuristic design that is here to stay, this is one of the few smartphones you can buy and use for a sustainable period of time if you don’t want to change your smartphone really quick in Nigeria.

The placements on the Oppo Reno 2F is a little bit different. To start with, there is a secondary microphone at the top and a pop-up selfie camera that lightens up when you want to take a picture. Well, this is not the first.

On the Oppo Reno 2F, you will notice some few changes. The volume and power buttons which we are used to seeing on the right side of most Android phones in Nigeria have been separated on this very smartphone.

The volume buttons are on the left while the power button and dual SIM tray with dedicated microSD card slot are on right. The 3.5mm headphone jack, microphone, USB-C port and speaker grill are at the bottom.

The rear camera set up also got a favorable spot, it was placed at the center. On the same line just slightly below, you will see a nice written “designed by Oppo” text and Oppo brand name inscription.

Still on the back, one can not help but admire the 3D curved corning gorilla glass 5 back on the Oppo Reno 2F. The front is also protected by the same type of glass. So you need to be careful when handling this device in Nigeria.

Display

On the Oppo Reno 2F is a multi-touch capacitive 6.5” OLED screen that is very clear, bright and sharp. It comes with a 2340 by 1080p resolution, 394ppi and has up to 16 million colors.

The display has a typical value 430nit brightness and a 60000:1(min) contrast ratio. Since the display is surrounded by small bezels, we are not surprised to see it grap a 91:1% screen ratio.

The Oppo Reno 2F comes with a quad camera set up that consist of a 48MP main, an 8MP ultra wide, 2MP mono and 2MP depth sensor. There is also a rear flash light to support.

My Thoughts

A lower variant is not that bad, the difference here is not as big. The Oppo Reno 2F is just as good but very okay if you want something that is good on the average.

Everything here is decent. Even her performance is great, the Oppo Reno 2F scored 148,130 in Antutu benchmark test. So gaming with this device in Nigeria is not disappointing.

I also must not forget to let you know that Oppo is offering a 2 years warranty when you buy the Reno 2F in Nigeria.
