Kicking off year 2021 is the Xiaomi Mi 11, a smartphone that was unveiled in a lunch event that took place in China in the last days of year 2020.

That’s for launch, the official release happened in January, 2021 so buying one is probably what you should be thinking about now in Nigeria but wait a minute…

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is a standard edition in the Mi 11 series but honestly it is starting to feel like a “pro” variant. At an budget price, you get a standard 2K 120Hz AMOLED display with an impressive performance, all thanks to snapdragon 888 cpu.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Price in Nigeria

The Xiaomi Mi 11 comes in two variants with their respective color options: Anti-glare frosted glass: midnight gray, horizon, blue, frost and white. Vegan leather: lilac purple, honey beige.

The Official sales start January 8, price begins at $613 in Nigeria. If you are buying one in Nigeria, you have multiple options to choose from, the Vegan leather is my favorite anyway. Fingers crossed.

Design & Display

The design of the Xiaomi Mi 11 is no doubt impressive, it is attention grabbing even at first sight in Nigeria. For the most part, it comes in two variants: AG matte and Vegan leather.

While the AG matte has a metal and glass sandwich design, the Vegan leather like her name has a leather finish behind. Both have good feelings of luxury in the hand.

On the display is a 6.81inch 2K AMOLED screen that renders pretty awesome even at 120Hz refresh rate is game changing. What 2K!!! This is just too good to be true in Nigeria.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 really pride herself heavily on display which is not surprising. It also received a 194grams weight which is a good number for the premium design it features.

Camera & Battery

At the back is a triple camera system that is made up of a 108MP main, 13MP ultra-wide and a 5MP macro lens. In front you get a 20MP punch-hole selfie camera.

The battery is pretty decent, a 4600mAh battery is in-house here with 55W wired charging with support for high speed 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. We these, we are settled in Nigeria.

We sincerely couldn’t expect to see anything less attractive in the start of 2021. Let’s establish a truth here, the Xiaomi Mi 11 in Nigeria is no doubt a beauty in her class. Even you yourself can’t deny that.
