Nokia 2.3 is the latest budget phone that was released 3 days ago in an event that took place in Egypt. Nokia 2.3 is the direct successor of Nokia 2.2 that was released some months ago but this time around there are a lot of improvements on the screen, camera, and battery.
As for the performance, it’s still the same as its predecessor since there are no changes on the chipset or RAM.
The 2.3 is Nokia’s latest mobile phone. It’s a powerful budget product, yet it has a dual rear camera that comprises a 13MP main shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. The single-camera is, nevertheless, a 5MP lens, and is mounted in a waterdrop notch.

Nokia 2.3 is built with plastic with metal sides and polymer back which gives the phone a premium feel. With regard to the back, at the top center, in a vertical position, you can see a dual shooter camera (13 MP having an aperture of f/2.2) and an LED flash. There’s no fingerprint scanner on the device rear but the phone comes with face unlock.
You will find a micro USB 2.0 port and the 3.5 mm headphones jack plus microphone at the bottom. You will find the power and the volume buttons at the right edge and also a Google assistant button on the left edge. It’ll be available in the colors Sand, Charcoal, and Cyan Green.
Still, on the design, the device is very elegant – it’s sleek with a thickness of 7.33mm, a near bezel-less display on the top and side of the device screen. And as for the water-drop notch, it is somewhat different from the usual as it is more of V-shaped than the U-shape we normally see.

Nokia 2.3 camera won’t make you a photographer but can still offer you some good looking photos.

It is a powerful budget device and of course, you won’t expect much on the overall performance. With a price tag of N45,000, it is still not that bad for its performance.
The device is built by the Mediatek MT6761 Helio A22 (12 nm) chipset with a quad-core processor. The processor has a clock speed of 2.0 GHz with PowerVR GE8320 GPU that handles multi-tasking.
This Nokia 2.3 is NFC-free but it does include Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi and GPS.
As for the battery, it comes with a 4000mAh non-removable Li-po battery that can last for up to 2 days.

The phone was just released some days ago and there’s no news about which particular regions are to get Nokia 2.3 and also there’s no confirmed information about the device availability here in Nigeria. The battery can last for a complete day of moderate usage. It has 12 months waranty. If damaged, you can take it to a Nokia care center near you.
