A couple of months ago we saw the 7th generation of the Infinix Note series. That flagship had some good score for the record but we are not done with the fun yet.
Now, the Infinix Note 8 just showed up and everyone in Nigeria is all over the place wanting to find out what’s new so as to decide whether or not an upgrade is worth it.
For the most part, the Infinix Note 8 moved an inch further than her closest predecessor which can transcend into some mix feeling for some. It great but…this is what am thinking.
We’ve got updated features that we were expecting before now but this can make you have a hard choice deciding on what to do if you are considering an upgrade as your best bet in Nigeria. If you not in that category, you are a little save.

Design & Display
The Infinix Note 8 comes with a sleek design with GEM CUT, it looks pretty good, trendy, and professional. But this is not what we were expecting particularly here in Nigeria.
The exquisite craftsmanship of the Infinix Note 8 is filled with unique lines and technological originality which makes the Gem Cut back design look transparent and durable.
The placements kind of took her regular spot. Also, know that there is a side-mounted fingerprint reader for a quick start. You can as well say hello to the splendid dual speakers with DTS and 4 modes that deliver an immersive musical experience for your ears and soul.
On the display, we’ve got a 6.95″ dual Infinity-O display prepared to broaden your horizons. The funny-looking dual front-facing camera kind of cut it in.
On the Infinix Note 8 are incredible display scores like 20.5:9 aspect ratio with dual super tiny camera punch hole. We also have a 1500:1 contrast ratio and 480nit of peak brightness on the display. The refresh rate sits at 60Hz.
Camera & Battery
The camera has a lot going, we are thrilled by the significant amount of cameras that are available on the Infinix Note 8. If there is any reason to buy one in Nigeria, this should definitely be the first. You are quick to notice this at first.
We begin with the front. A dual selfie camera is what is obtainable here, it comprises of an intelligent 16MP + 2MP cameras with a portrait lens that works closely to deliver stunning selfies you love.
At the rear, we’ve got a 64MP + 2MP + 2MP + AI cameras. This set of high definition cameras allows you to capture every wonderful moment in life. There is also a quad flash to support
You also get the opportunity to explore other camera features like Ultra Night Mode 2.0, Eye-tracking auto focus, super stable videos, slow motion capture, creative short video shooting, portrait and super macro lens.
The Infinix Note 8 has a 5200mAh massive battery with super long endurance power marathon tech embedded inside. To better charging, we’ve got an 18W Super Charge that comes in handy with a more convenient and efficient USB-C port.
That’s not all, The Infinix Note 8 does have what Infinix call a dual engines technology that enables the Note 8 to reduce the heat by 8 degrees lower while charging in Nigeria.

Final Thoughts
The Infinix Note 8 has it good on all sides that is if you are you are coming in as a new buyer. The camera is better, the battery has been upgraded and the design is appealing too.
The Infinix Note 8 when compared to the Infinix Note 7 in Nigeria has little to no significant upgrade. So if you are thinking about upgrading before, I will just advise you to stay tuned.
We didn’t get to the Stylus pen we felt the Infinix Note 8 is entitled to. We are still surprised to see it absent in Nigeria. Isn’t that the very reason why we choose the Note variant over the regular line ups?

I NEED THE PHONE FOR MY STUDIES.
How much do I need to swap my Infinix hot 7 pro for note 8i
It depends on some factors like: how clean is the hot 7 pro and the state you live in
