Last Updated on June 10, 2021 by TM

We need to talk about the cheapest smartphone device in the OnePlus Nord series, the N100. A very cool budget phone that deserve a little attention particularly here in Nigeria.

The OnePlus Nord N100 should probably be your last option if you eventually decide to stick with the Nord but the previous lineup just keeps getting expensive in Nigeria.

I kind of like the simplistic nature of the OnePlus Nord N100 even though it tends to not have it all. The features are not top-tier but it fits in with the audience.

Design & Display

As earlier said, the OnePlus Nord N100 has it simple with design, if you are more of a minimalist kind of person in Nigeria, this could be really helpful. The design is nothing too high, nothing too low, it’s just in between.

The OnePlus Nord N100 is pretty good with design, it rocks a dynamic set of powerful dual speakers that provides a more immersive audio experience for you in Nigeria.

So whether you’re watching your favorite series or that new movie you’ve been waiting to see, it just gets better with sound at every moment.

The display is another feature that has always been important. For the OnePlus Nord N100 what you watch these days is just as important as where you watch it. Don’t you think so?

In here, we’ve got a stretched 6.52″ screen that gives your movies, games, and apps the screen estate they deserve. There is only a punch hole at the top, so you have a lot on the display.

Camera & Battery

The first step to taking great photos is having the right tools. The OnePlus Nord N100 comes prepared with a 13 MP main camera for stunning shots, a 2MP macro lens for getting up close and personal, and a 2MP specialized camera for portrait photos. In front is an 8MP front-facing camera.

Running around trying to find an outlet as your phone hangs on at 1% is never fun. That’s why the OnePlus Nord N100 is powered by a long-lasting 5,000mAh battery. OnePlus even included an 18W fast charger to make sure it stays powered.

Final Thoughts

A slightly affordable smartphone like the OnePlus Nord N100 kind of takes you far. This is probably an easy go-to device you can buy and expect nothing extraordinary from.

With OnePlus putting African photos on their website kind of send a strong message to us down here, particularly here in Nigeria. Could it be that their budget device is targeted towards Africa and Africans?

The OnePlus Nord N100 when compared to other smartphones in her price point in Nigeria does fit in with the competition. This in some kind of ways adds up to the competition in the market.
