Having spent over a year without seeing any new arrival on the Zero series, Infinix Mobility finally ended that break with the release of her Zero 6 in Nigeria for 2019.

The Infinix Zero 6 is a premium flagship that was well crafted out to cater for her high-end users in Nigeria. It is indeed a gorgeous looking smartphone that is rich in beauty.

If you haven’t been impressed with all the Infinix smartphones you have seen so far in Nigeria this year, I suggest you give Infinix Mobility another chance with the new Zero 6 but be ready to pay more.

Yes! I must tell you the truth, the Infinix Zero 6 is expensive in Nigeria even though it comes with some stunning features that tends to justify the cost.

Design

The Infinix Zero 6 comes with a premium design that looks rich and feels stellar in the hand. The Infinix Zero 6 is immensely blessed with a metal and glass body.

On the Infinix Zero 6, there is a stylish looking 2.5D gorilla corning glass at the front and back with a metal frame in between.

The addition of both materials already present the Infinix Zero 6 as an expensive flagship. You get to notice this even when the phone is held from a distance.

On the right is where the volume & power buttons sits, the dual slot hybrid SIM tray is by the left while the speaker grill, USB port, Mic and headphone jack are at the bottom.

With all this numbers above, you are guaranteed of enjoying high quality viewing with the display. Whether its gaming or movies, you are definitely going to spot the difference.

What if I dislike the notch display? Should in case you dislike the Infinix Zero 6 fullview notch display you can choose to take it off by activating some settings options.

Camera

The camera on the Infinix Zero 6 is far above entry-level. On the Infinix Zero 6, there is a 20MP AI selfie camera that comes with flashlight to assist with taking selfie shots at night.

Truth be told, the battery life on the Infinix Zero 6 might not excite majority of her fans right here in Nigeria especially now that Itel mobile is pushing the boundaries forward with her P33 plus.

But that shouldn’t be a big deal at all considering the fact that the Infinix Zero 6 have fast charging feature, you need not to worry about recharging the smartphone when the battery runs down.

Software & Spec

The Infinix Zero 6 comes with a surprising Android 8.1 Oreo OS that is based on Infinix XOS honeybee 4.5 UI. This is hard to believe but it’s absolutely true.

Infinix Mobility however promise to throw a software update on the Infinix Zero 6 to enable us enjoy Google’s Android 9.0 pie OS on her premium flagship.

With the XOS honeybee 4.5 UI on the Infinix Zero 6, there are a lot of things you can do. You can split the screen for multi-tasking, hide apps and even do a scan to recharge.

The UI also allow you to maintain multiple accounts and do some intelligent fingerprint tasks like fingerprint call recording and quick app launch.

On Spec sheet, the Infinix Zero 6 comes with a hefty 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset and 1.6GHz octa-core processor.

Other exciting features on the Infinix Zero 6 are security features like fingerprint sensor and facial recognition which are incredibly fast.

Also, the front-facing flashlight on the Infinix Zero 6 comes with dual functions. The number one role is to assist with night selfies while the second is notification indicator.

And finally, the Infinix Zero 6 comes in a sweet box I would love to keep. Inside the box are: 3A charger, USB cable, earphone, sim ejector pin, plastic case and a USB type-C converter.

My Thoughts

The Infinix Zero 6 is a premium tagged flagship that is considered to be the best among all Infinix Smartphones in Nigeria because of her well sorted out features.

The Infinix Zero 6 is a definitely not for everyone. Infinix Mobility deliberately manufactured this smartphone with high-end users at heart.

Every single feature on the Infinix Zero 6 looks very okay to me. In summary I would say the Infinix Zero 6 justify the cost and is value for money.
