It’s no longer news that there is a global need for budget smartphones. It is not just only a Nigeria thing but a worldwide thing. So Vivo got the Y20s for fans in that category.
For a smartphone like the Vivo Y20s, you are glanced over by the stunning purist blue color. But you are not alone. Vivo had the spec zone occupied too.

Design & Display
The design of the Vivo Y20s is nothing too fancy. There is nothing really unusual here. From top to bottom, you can see it already. There is only one thing that makes a difference here, the color options. That’s the real game changer here.
On the display, we’ve got a really big guy here. It’s a 6.51inch IPS display with a water drop notch at the top. It has a standard display resolution of 1600 x 720p which is perfectly okay for movie watching, gaming, and general media consumption in Nigeria.
Camera & Battery
For a smartphone like the Vivo Y20s, you probably should expect something pretty decent in Nigeria. To begin, there is an 8MP front-facing camera with all the selfie camera features to add up.
At the rear, we’ve got three (3) round circles: 13MP main + 2MP macro + 2MP depth cameras with f/2.2, f/2.4 and f/2.4 apertures respectively. With these, you are pretty set for an adventure in Nigeria.

Final Thoughts
I sincerely can’t call the Vivo Y20s a garbage. This smartphone is fairly simple in a lot of ways. That’s the whole idea here. I kind of like the fact that a 6GB ROM was deposited inside even though it lacks 5G. There are only a few smartphones in Nigeria with 5G anyway.
The beauty is another big ups too coupled with the fact that Vivo has a very good reputation in the industry. There have over the years set solid record in the smart world in general so you probably shouldn’t expect nothing less.
