On thursday December 14 2017, Apple finally replaced the 2013 mac pro with a new Imac pro specifically to meet up with the high-end demand of creative professionals. The Imac pro is currently apple’s most powerful desktop PC on the planet, it comes with an improved set of speakers, front-facing camera and has a whole new stella performance. The design and display are all the same as any other 27inch 5k imac. Don’t let the exterior look of the Imac pro deceive you because what makes the Imac pro an Imac pro is actually on the inside.
The Imac pro features an optional 8, 10, 14 or 18-core xeon processor, 4.5Ghz turbo boost speed, Readon pro vega GPU, 11 teroflops single precision, 22 teraflops half precision, 400GB/s bandwidth memory, 8GB or 16GB High bandwidth memory, up to 128GB massive memory, up to 4TB of flash storage, retina 5K display, advanced thermal management cooling system and supports up to 1 billion colors.
The most noticeable upgrades in the Imac pro are;
#1. The new T2 chip which is currently an improvement to the T1 chip on the macbook pro. The T2 chip provides more encryption and security.
#2. Better improved Radeon pro-graphics subsystem which has the ability to drive more external monitors.
#3. And finally at the back, there are four Thunderbolt 3 (USB‑C) ports, four(4) USB 3.0 type A, 3.5mm audio jack , an SSD card slot and a 10GB Ethernet port.

Availability in Nigeria
The Imac pro with 8 and 10-core cpu are currently available for purchase but are yet to arrive Nigeria, the 14 and 18-core cpu will be available early next year(worldwide).

The Imac pro is a high-end desktop pc that was specifically built for creative professionals around the world including Nigeria. The Imac pro i must say is very expensive but trust me, it’s worth the price. If you are still deciding on whether or not to buy the Imac pro desktop pc in Nigeria, i would like to ask a simple question: how much is your time worth? is it not better to be more efficient, work faster, make more money and save much time.
